Platinum Computing Systems has been around since 1984.
Started as a computer repair business, we expanded into the realm of tailored software.
Back in those days, finding software solutions was difficult
and many companies would have solutions written specifically for them.
As our experience in Health and Safety grew,
so did our understanding of the shortcomings that existed.
From there we designed our solution to the problem with our Injury Database.
We now cover many aspects of computers.
From hardware {build, upgrade and repair} to software {tailored and our own packages} we do it all.
About Brian R. Howe
I have been fixing, building and programming computers since 1981.
I have used almost every type of computer available except Mac's (I just never liked them).
I have been involved in Workplace Health and Safety since 1989.
From accident investigations to workplace safety audits to Joint Committees, I have done it all.
I am a certified Health and Safety representative in the Province of Ontario.
It is my extensive experience with workplace Health and Safety,
and the inherent problems with it, that led me to write the Injury Database program.
I've seen the need for a software solution to Safety.
Only by gathering statistics can we determine where to focus our energies and money to reduce accidents in the workplace.
